Hello! I'm Helen...
I live in Bristol (UK) with my husband and daughter where I created The Unicorn Factory as a home for joy through creativity. One aspect of that is creating bright, bold & fun designs, inspired by things in life that bring me joy, for others to enjoy in their homes and their lives!
After completing a degree in Computer Animation, I spent a majority of my career working between project management and marketing, finding any excuse to squeeze my illustration and design skills into the day job. I finally decided that it was time to put creativity at the centre of my career, focusing on surface pattern & print design, bringing with me valuable experience around understanding client requirements and delivering everything they need on time!
My illustrations and patterns are available for licensing as is or with variations, alongside being open to commissions for original artwork.
Work with me
I’m based in the UK and work with clients internationally. With a background in marketing and project management I’m comfortable providing artwork to client specifications, within deadlines and on budget.
Licensing
License one or more of my existing designs to use on your physical or digital products. All my patterns and spot illustrations are vector based so can be recoloured, rearranged and resized to meet your requirements.
Commissions
You can commission exclusive original artwork in my fun, bright and joyful style based around the theme, colours and any other specifications you have in mind.
Freelance Work
